Univers Workplace Solutions Names Julio (Jay) C. Torres Senior Lead Consultant

Hammonton, NJ – Univers Workplace Solutions, the nation’s leading benefit communications and enrollment solutions provider, has named Julio (Jay) C. Torres as senior lead consultant for the western region, which includes the states of California and Hawaii.

In his new role, Torres is responsible for helping benefit consultants and their clients develop cost effective and meaningful benefit communication, enrollment and administration strategies.

As a bi-lingual trusted client adviser in Southern California with extensive sales knowledge and expertise in employee benefits and commercial insurance, he will be a valuable member of the Univers team,” said Dani McCauley, EVP of Sales & Marketing of Univers Workplace Solutions.

Prior to joining Univers, Torres served as the president of employee benefits practice at RMS & Associates, Inc. in Orange County, CA. In that position, Torres was responsible for assisting clients with overall employee communication strategies, as well as managing and coordinating open enrollment strategies with a variety of clients and internal agency resources. Additionally, Torres has served as president and CEO of IRG Networks, Inc., Marketing Executive at The Equitable and has held various positions at Blue Cross of California and Blue Shield of California.

Torres has been a resident of Orange County for more than 20 years. He currently resides in Laguna Niguel, CA with his wife, Giselle and four children – Suzette, Alexandra, Jonathan and Sebastian.
